Download the English Paper Piecing Templates and Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern.
- Print 4 copies of Unit A pattern.
- Print 4 copies of Template A.
- Print 8 copies of Template B.
- Print 4 copies of Template C.
- Print 4 copies of Template D.
Instructions:
Cut (2) 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ squares from the light sky and white fabric each.
Using light olive and white fabric, paper piece unit A. Use the color image above as a placement guide. Make 2 of each version.
English paper piece a royal blue B to a light olive C. Make 2. Reverse the colors and make 2 more. Repeat for B and D.
Sew the BC and BD units to unit A. Make 4.
Sew either a royal blue or light olive A to the corners to complete the 4 sections.
Applique a section to the corresponding 7 1/2″ background square.
Trim each background square to 6 1/2″.
Block Assembly:
Using the diagram below as a guide, to assemble the block.
Block measures 12 1/2″ unfinished.
