Download the Foundation Paper Piecing Patterns.
- Print 4 of pattern A.
- Print 4 of pattern B.
- Print 4 of pattern C.
- Print 4 of pattern D.
- Print 1 of center template.
Instructions:
From the light pink fabric, cut 1 center square using the center template. Add a 1/4″ seam allowance when cutting.
Block Assembly:
Using the diagram below as a guide, sew the corner triangles to the center A.
Side Units
Complete patterns A, B, C, and D using each of the four color combinations. Use the color image above for color placement.
- Light Yellow & Orange
- Light Pink & Raspberry
- Coral & Dark Orange
- Light Eggplant & Light Sky
Sew unit A to unit B of like colors. Sew unit AB to C. Sew unit ABC to D to complete like-color Side unit. Repeat for other colors.
Sew the light pink center square to unit A for each side. Use the color image above for placement of the side units.
Sew the side seams together completing the block.
Block measures 12 1/2″ unfinished.
