A sharp-eyed reader let us know we made a mistake in the A and B patch sizes for the River Trees pattern in the December 2013 issue of TQL. The correct size for patch A is 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, and the correct size for patch B is 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.
If you’ve cut patches already, you can trim them to the correct size before you make the Flying Geese. You can also go ahead and make the Flying Geese with the patches as they are, and trim the bottom and side edges of your completed Flying Geese units. Completed units should measure 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, raw edge to raw edge.
Thank you for keeping us on our toes. We apologize for the inconvenience…Jan Magee, The Quilt Life
it would be nice to have a print option on the corrections for quilt patterns from your magazine
