To Bonnie Browning – In 1991 I and two quilting friends took a class from Bonnie at Maquoketa, Iowa.
It was “The Xquisite Scrap Quilt” which I pieced from 4″ scraps of light, medium and dark values. I quilted it and showed in the 1991 Iowa Co. Fair, Blue; 1992 in National Quilt Assoc., Davenport, IA: and National Cattle Congress, Waterloo; in 1993 at IA Co Heartland Quilter show, Victor. It has been a favorite of mine. I have always wanted to teach a Sat. workshop for my local quilt guild which is celebrating 30 yrs. in 2019.
It was the best way to understand value, hues and etc. So excited to find this after a 1991 class with you.
I have all those notes and instructions. One of my favorites. Karen
