The day has come. We’re starting Funshine, the March quilt for Quilt Along 2020! We’re going to pull fabric for Funshine and cut out our pieces.
For 2020, we’ve collected 12 of our most popular quilt patterns. We’ll make a quilt a month and cover the creative process from selecting colors and fabrics, piecing and assembly tips, and quilting ideas to help you finish your quilt. Funshine Quilt Along 2020
60″ x 60″

Fabric Requirements
White – 1⅔ yards
Yellow – 1⅜ yards
Red – ¼ yard
Assorted bright fabrics totaling – 1⅓ yards (6 fat quarters are a great option)
Backing – 4 yards
Binding – ⅝ yard
Cutting Instructions
From the white fabric, cut:
(16) 7″ x 7″
(16) 6½″ x 6½″
(16) 3½″ x 6½″
From the yellow fabric, cut:
(16) 7″ x 7″
(16) 6½″ x 6½″
From the red fabric, cut:
(8) 3½″ x 3½″
From the assorted bright fabrics, cut:
(208) 2″ x 3 ½″
For the 60″ x 60″ binding, cut:
(7) 2½″ x WOF strips

Funshine is such a fun quilt for showing off prints, playing with color, and experimenting with value.
Look for color inspiration in nature, like these precious little pansies.
Choose fabrics all in the same color family for a cohesive look. Pop in a complementary color for some playfulness.
Decrease the contrast between the fabrics in the quilt to create different emphasis.
