The Block Sasher’s Label
Make your own Block Slasher’s quilt label. Dig through your stash of unfinished projects and find an orphaned block.
Measure the block to find the center. Cut through the center of the block so the block is in two equal pieces.
Cut a 4″ strip of muslin by the width of the block (or any fabric you choose). If you need more room to record information on the label, increase the size of the muslin strip.
Write, paint, embroider, or applique on the muslin portion of the label being sure to leave room for seam allowances.
When you are happy with the muslin portion of the label, sew it into the center of the block.
Attach your label to the back of your quilt.
