Free Sunbonnet Sue Pattern
Here’s a FREE pattern from Deb Kimball author of International Sunbonnet Sue. This cute Sue looks like she is on the way to Paducah QuiltWeek! Paducah Sue is a bonus pattern not included in Deb’s book.
I love the sunbonnet, and this unusual new style sunbonnet is creat Paducah, what does it mean? does it have a meaning? I think I am going to use it on my next quilt for the premie babies on my next project thank you very much for the free pattern. God bless you.
It took me forever to finally open this e-mail but it was totally worth it. I love the pattern and since Sunbonnet Sue has always been one of my oldest daughter’s favorites I’m hoping to surprise her with a throw size quilt for her birthday, in April.
Thanks and keep up the great work!!!
Yes, Monica, Sunbonnet Sue is on her way to Paducah, Kentucky, (aka Quilt City USA®) for the 2013 QuiltWeek™ April 24-27 (http://aqsshows.com/AQSPaducah/). Also home of The National Quilt Museum (http://www.quiltmuseum.org/). Hope to see you there, too. Sylvia Thomas, AQS Administrator.
I cannot download the Sunbonnet Sue pattern. I am in the middle of making International Sunbonnet Sues from the book (have 4 completed) and would like to add this one.
My daughter and I each just finished all the blocks (49) in your International Sue book. We will be putting the quilt together at a retreat next month. Thank you for the free pattern. We will use it for the label on the back of our quilts.

I can’t seem to download Paducah Sue. Is there a problem with your button or is it my computer?

Isn’t she cute? Thanks “sew” much!
I think it’s referring to Paducah, KY, where they have a quilt museum.
