Migration
90″ x 90″
Fabric Requirements:
Pink – 3 1/8 yd
Red – 2 1/4 yd
Brown – 3 1/8 yd
Binding – 3/4 yd
Cutting Instructions:
From the pink fabric, cut:
(7) 16″ x 16″ squares for half square trianges (HST)
(6) 15 1/2″ x 15 1/2″ squares
From the red fabric, cut:
(10) 16″ x 16″ squares for HST
From the brown fabric, cut:
(13) 16″ x 16″ squares for HST
Assembly:
Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner on the backside of each of the brown half square triangle (HST) 19″ squares and two of the pink HST 16″ squares.
For each set, lay the marked square on the unmarked square of the same size, right sides together. Assemble as follows:
- 8 Brown and 8 Red 16″ squares yields 16 HSTs.
- 5 Brown and 5 Pink 16″ squares yields 10 HSTs.
- 2 Pink and 2 Red 10″ squares yields 4 HSTs.
Sew a 1/4″ seam on each side of the diagonal line.
Cut on the diagonal line.
Press the half square triangles and trim evenly to 15 1/2″.
Following the diagram below, sew the sections together and the sections into a quilt!
I can’t get my printer to print this pattern all it will do is print the list of al the patterns available. Is there a way that you could email me this pattern? Thanks Maryann S. Ditmyer
Maryann,
When you select “printer friendly” check the boxes at the top of the page. Does it show 100%? If not, change it to 100% and see if that helps.
Thank you for making a big quilt with easy blocks. I would like to see more of this.
