String quilts are, by their very nature, liberated quilts. Because there’s no set block pattern, every string quilt is an original! Gwen Marston couldn’t resist combining her liberated blocks into a medallion-style layout. The result? A wallhanging with pizazz AND individuality!
This string quilt is made using liberated techniques without foundations.

Beautiful
Lovely. Nice colors
i’m confused, how can you claim a copyright on a method and pattern for a block my grandmother taught me circa 1957. this is the first block/method of quilting i learned and my grandmother chose this because it was the first she learned circa 1906. your quilt is lovely. and the inside setting border is perfect for these blocks.
