Who is Freddy? He’s a cute fox who will steal your heart. This free pattern is a complement to last week’s Woody Owl, ready for you to appliqué or embroider into your forest scene.
Don’t let those big eyes fool you. He’s quick, don’t let him get away!

Appliqué
This is another great pattern to use with a raw edge appliqué technique.
Here are some basic steps to try:
Using your favorite fusible interfacing, trace the fox parts individually onto the paper side. Tracing creates a reverse image so flip if desired.
Cut out the pieces of the fox leaving a generous allowance around each piece.
Iron the fusible interfacing to the WRONG side of the desired fabric.
Cut out along the line on the fusible interfacing.
Peel the paper backing from the fusible interfacing.
Iron the fox pieces in place on the background fabric.
Stitch along the edges of the fox using a straight stitch, zig zag or satin stitch.
Embroidery
