Diane Gaudynski’s beautiful Quilt of the Week has a very serious theme. It is named “Through a Glass Darkly, An American Memory.” The quilt started as a study in the subtle variations of deep colors. After September 11, Diane changed the color palette by adding lighter colors to signify light shining through the windows and hope.
