Cutting Instructions:
From the white fabric, cut:
(4) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares
(8) 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ squares
From the dark blue fabric, cut:
(4) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares
(4) 2″ x 2″ squares
From the light blue fabric, cut:
(12) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares
(4) 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangles
(4) 2″ x 2″ squares
From the dark purple fabric, cut:
(4) 2″ x 2″ squares
Instructions:
Half Square Triangles
Mark the back of the 2″ light blue squares diagonally from corner to corner. Use this as a guide to make half square triangles. Layer with the 2″ dark blue and dark purple squares and sew 1/4″ from the drawn line. Cut on the drawn line to make two half square triangles.
Size the half square triangles to 1 1/2″ each.
Make the following half square triangles:
(4) Dark purple and light blue
(4) Dark purple and dark blue
(4) Dark blue and light blue
Remember each set of squares makes 2 half square triangles.
Faux Flying Geese
Mark the back of the 1 1/2″ light blue squares diagonally from corner to corner. Lay a 1 1/2″ light blue square in the corner of the 2 1/2″ white square. Sew on the drawn line from corner to corner. Cut 1/4″ on the outside of the drawn line. Press. Make 8.

Can anyone tell me how I can make this block to a 10 inch block instead of 8. I want to incorporate it into another quilt I am working on. Thanks
