Spending time apart from our loved ones and quilting friends is hard. While staying safe at home, many of us have grown our technical know-how to stay connected through social media, video calls, and apps. Phone calls with friends that span an afternoon are blessings. Facebook groups about quilting help fill-in the gap left from not having quilt guild meetings. We’re all finding ways to stay busy and stay connected. One of the best ways to go an extra step and show someone you care is to send a card, or letter.
Nothing brightens one’s day like receiving a sweet note of encouragement from a friend. But writing the note can be just as heartwarming as receiving it. Spending time thinking about your friend, what you like about them, happy times together, shared interests can help melt the distance between you.
That’s why we’ve put together some tips for writing a note to your quilting friends and loved ones.
