Cream
Dark Eggplant

Cutting Instructions:
From the dark eggplant, cut:
(4) 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles
From the light eggplant, cut:
(8) 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ squares
From the cream, cut:
(4) 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles
Instructions:
Make four flying geese units by marking the backs of the 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ light eggplant squares diagonally from corner to corner. Lay the marked square on a corner of the cream rectangle, right sides together, and sew on the marked line. Trim and press. Repeat for the other corner on the same side.
Block Assembly:
Sew the dark eggplant rectangles to the flying geese units as shown below. Sew two sections together to complete half of the block. Sew the two halves together to complete the block.
Block measures 12 1/2″ unfinished.
