- Print 1 of template A.
- Print 4 of template B.
- Print 4 of template C.
- Print 4 of template D.
- Print 4 of template E.
- Print 4 of template F.
- Print 4 of template G.
- Print 8 of template H.
Instructions:
From the periwinkle fabric, cut 1 template A piece.
From the coral fabric, cut 4 template B pieces.
From the lime fabric, cut 4 template C pieces.
From the light khaki fabric, cut 4 template D & E pieces.
From the dark gold fabric, cut 4 template F pieces.
From the light tomato fabric, cut 4 template G pieces.
From the light cream fabric, cut 8 template H pieces.
From the dark butter fabric, cut 4 template B pieces and 2 template A pieces.
Using the assembly diagram below, English paper piece the block together in five sections. Sew the five sections together.

The “F” template for the North Carolina State Block is missing from the pdf file. Can you amend please? Thank you.
It says to join the 5 sections together. I only see four sections in the diagram.
Hi Susan, In the assembly diagram, the bottom two sections are already joined together suggesting you could start by joining those together first. Hope this helps. Thanks, Betsey
Were the D and E pieces accidentally switched on the individual templates?
Hi Marilyn, That’s possible since they are the inverse of each other. It depends on which direction you prefer the letters on your template I guess. Thanks, Betsey
