Download the Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern.
Print 4 copies of Unit A foundation paper piecing pattern.
Instructions:
Paper piece Unit A.
Tip: When piecing the unit, sew through the seam allowances.
Make 4.
Unit A measures 6 1/2″ square unfinished.
Tip: Remove the paper and press two unit’s seams in the opposite direction allowing the seams to lock when piecing the block.
Block Assembly:
Using the diagram below, arrange the Units A being careful to note the orientation.
Sew the top two units together. Repeat with the bottom units.
Sew the two rows together to complete the block.
Block measures 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ unfinished.
