Download Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern and Center Template.
Note: 6/9 Paper Piecing Pattern has been revised.
- Print 4 copies of Unit A foundation paper piecing pattern.
- Print 1 copy of Template B or cut a 3″ coral square.
Instructions:
Paper piece Unit A. Make 4.
Unit A measures 5 1/4″ x 7 3/4″ unfinished.
Trace 1 Template B onto the backside of the Coral fabric. Add 1/4″ to each side for the seam allowance and cut out. Measures 2 1/2″ square with seam allowances.
Block Assembly:
Using the diagram below, arrange the Units A around the Template B square being careful to note the orientation.
Sew the Coral square to the bottom right edge of the top left Unit A. Use the drawn stitching line on B as a guide.
Sew the top right Unit A to the previous unit.
Continue adding the units.
Finish sewing the seam between the first and last units.
Block measures 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ unfinished.
